The exhibition "Meanwhile in the Mountains: Sagalassos", which was opened at the Yapı Kredi Museum on November 27, 2019, and accepted as the most comprehensive archeology project of recent years, is extended until August 23, 2020.

Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture supported the return of the Tatarlı Tumulus at the Yapı Kredi Vedat Nedim Tör Museum. This splendid burial chamber with some of the most important examples of ancient wood painting, proffers a remarkable amount of information on the lifestyle and beliefs of 5th century bc Anatolians.

Lidya Krallığı’nın başkenti olan Sardeis’te ilk yerleşimler M.Ö.5000’den itibaren başladı. Arkeolojik kazılarda Neolitik, Tunç Çağı ve Demirçağ’ın izlerine rastlanmakla birlikte Lidyalılar, M.Ö. 680-547 yılları arasında en parlak dönemlerini yaşadılar.
