106 Years in Hattusha
Traces of small, short-lived villages found in the ruins of the Hittite capital Hattusha indicate the site was originally settled as early as the mid-6th millennium bc; the site certainly was continuously inhabited from the 2nd millennium bc onwards.

The Return of Colours
Tatarlı
Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture supported the return of the Tatarlı Tumulus at the Yapı Kredi Vedat Nedim Tör Museum. This splendid burial chamber with some of the most important examples of ancient wood painting, proffers a remarkable amount of information on the lifestyle and beliefs of 5th century bc Anatolians.

Lidyalılar ve Dünyaları
Lidya Krallığı’nın başkenti olan Sardeis’te ilk yerleşimler M.Ö.5000’den itibaren başladı. Arkeolojik kazılarda Neolitik, Tunç Çağı ve Demirçağ’ın izlerine rastlanmakla birlikte Lidyalılar, M.Ö. 680-547 yılları arasında en parlak dönemlerini yaşadılar.
