Our “Sun of Art” continues to shine

First held in Istanbul  and later in Ankara, Here I Am: Zeki Müren exhibition, which broke records with the number visitors it received, sheds light to all the details of our “Sun of Art”s life starting from his childhood. Close to 10,000 photographs – of which only a minor fraction was classified by the artist leaving the rest undated and without explanatory notes - some still as vibrant as though they were shot yesterday, others long lost the battle against the exhaustion of years, drawings, costumes, records, poems, notes and archive images are compiled to document a life lived to the full.
